Originally from Australia, now residing in Dubai, Desley is a seasoned learning and talent management consultant. She has close to 20 years’ experience working with multifaceted organisations and educational institutions, across a diverse range of industries spanning from Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, and Europe.
Desley has led start up learning functions within multidisciplinary organisations and supported businesses through culture and people change initiatives. She has extensive experience supporting C-Suite and Executives as a trusted advisor and has developed strategically tailored talent solutions to achieve sustainable results. She combines her commercial acumen with her passion for helping organisations build their people capabilities.
Expertise
Desley’s expertise covers the design of experiential learning and development solutions for individuals, groups and leadership, large and small group facilitation, and talent and performance management. Her experience working across a variety of organisations, has given Desley in-depth understanding of the importance of people development and the potential challenges if overlooked.
Certifications
Desley holds a Bachelor of Education accredited by Queensland University of Technology, Australia. She is a certified HBDI Practitioner (assessing thinking preferences and leveraging Whole Brain Thinking), MBTI Practitioner (identifying personality types and how people perceive the world and make decisions).

As a mother of three fun-filled little ones, I am passionate about creating a future where ‘anything is possible’. I am an avid learner, thrive on new challenges and captivated by the stories of others. I love travelling and discovering new and different cultures; launching into my first overseas adventure as a teenager to a country where English was not the first language.
